I want a holiday week

Find the week your family will go back to every year

Coast, bush and mountain resorts across Southern Africa. Every listing shows the levy and any arrears before you commit.

I want to sell mine

Paying levies on a week you don't use?

Turn it into someone else's holiday. We check your ownership and list it for buyers.

  1. Resort, unit, week or points, and your asking price. It takes a few minutes.
  2. We confirm ownership with the managing body before anything goes live.
  3. Buyers bid. If your reserve is met, the highest bid wins and we handle the transfer paperwork.

Why own a week

The holiday you look forward to all year, already booked

  • A holiday that's already yours

Own a fixed week and it's yours every year, with no scramble for December bookings. Floating weeks and points give you more choice.

  • Space for the whole family

Self-catering units with kitchens and room to spread out, not a hotel room for four.

  • Know the real cost before you commit

Register free and every listing shows you the annual levy, any arrears and special levies, and an estimate of the levies over the years, before you commit.

  • Buy from an owner, not a sales floor

No presentations and no pressure. An owner we have checked, and the transfer paperwork done for you.

Levy each year

Estimates in future rands, assuming the levy rises about 6% a year. The levy is set by the managing body and can change.

These figures are an illustration to help you weigh the real cost of owning, not a quote. We assume the annual levy keeps rising each year, because timeshare levies usually do — but the levy is set by the resort or club and can change. Always confirm the current and past levies with them before you commit.

For owners

Your week is somebody's dream holiday

Families are looking for weeks like yours. We make your listing easy to find and safe to buy. We won't promise it will sell, or by when, but we will put it in front of serious buyers.

  • A verified listing that buyers can trust
  • Buyers see your levy before they commit, so the ones who do have already done the maths
  • On auction, you set the reserve. Below it, you don't have to sell
  • Sellers never pay anything upfront. You see exactly what selling costs before you list
List my timeshareIt takes a few minutes
  1. Tell us what you own

Resort, unit, week or points, and your asking price. It takes a few minutes.

  2. We verify your ownership

We confirm ownership with the managing body before anything goes live.

  3. Your week goes on auction

Buyers browsing that region see it, and buyers with a matching wish list are emailed.

  4. The buyer pays, the week transfers, you get paid

The buyer's money is held in Leisure Options' FNB Section 54 trust account. Once the managing body registers the transfer, we pay you the sale price from that account, less our fee.

Plain answers

The questions people ask us first

Timeshare has a reputation. Here is exactly how we do things.

  • Leisure Options is PPRA-regulated (FFC F114530)
  • Leisure Options' FNB Section 54 trust account
  • POPIA: Leisure Options is the responsible party
Is this one of those timeshare scams?

No. mydreamholiday is run by Leisure Options (Pty) Ltd, a registered property practitioner regulated by the PPRA (FFC F114530). We don't do sales presentations and we don't make high-pressure calls.

What do you charge?

Our fee is shown on every listing, so you see it before you commit or list. Sellers never pay anything upfront. Buyers pay only after they win or buy, into Leisure Options' trust account, where it is held until transfer. Levies are paid to the managing body, not to us.

What happens if I win an auction?

We email you straight away. You have 24 hours to pay, and then we arrange the transfer into your name with the managing body.

How do I know the seller really owns the week?

We confirm ownership with the managing body before a listing goes live, so every week you see can be transferred to you.

Where does my money go?

Buyers pay only after they win or buy, into Leisure Options' trust account, where it is held until transfer. That is Leisure Options' FNB Section 54 trust account, and the seller is paid from it once the transfer is registered.

What will the levy cost me each year?

Register free and every listing shows you the current annual levy, any arrears and any special levies before you commit, with an estimate of the levies over the years. Levies are set by the managing body and usually rise each year.

Are the prices real?

Yes. You see real bids from real buyers, never valuations we made up to win a listing.

How does bidding work?

Each lot runs for a set time and shows exactly when it closes. The highest bid above the seller's reserve wins.
